The first time that all philosophy teachers in this south-western part of Mindanao gathered for "Philosophy Beyond The Classroom" seminar held at University of Mindanao Audio-Visual Room last 22 October 2011. This gathering was spearheaded by the head organizer, Mr. Ryan Maboloc, a philosophy professor of the Ateneo de Davao University. This is an offshoot to the future Philosophical Association of Mindanao.
